Who is Richest in World in 2010?

10th march 2010 US’s Forbes declared the list of world’s billionaires in which Carlos slim helu was found at first rank. Now he is the richest personality in the world in 2010. His  equity is
 $ 53.5 billion.

His age is just 70 years. He belongs to telecom industry. I have read his two references, one is from his profile at Wikipedia and other from Forbes online.

Last year, he was on the third position but in this year he left behind all his competitors. His success story started when he bought telmex from Mexican govt. He is also doing the business of cellphones and more than 100 million subscribers are of his company which shows his powerful leadership in telecom industry.

Slim says he is unfazed by the criticism:

 "When you live for others' opinions, you are dead. I don't want to live thinking about how I'll be remembered." He also claims indifference about his ranking and says he has no interest in becoming the world's richest person. When asked to explain his sudden increase in wealth at a press conference soon after Forbes annual rankings were published, he reportedly said, "The stock market goes up ... and down," and noted that his fortune could quickly drop.
