Accounting for Beginners

I am joining this field from other field. So I would like you to help me which book is the best for a student who does not know accounting? Please advice me I want to gain this field faster.

 Peter! It is good that you are increasing your knowledge by joining in accounting field. Accounting is not just field for those who want it as their profession. But it is one of good skill which you can use life time. So, never think it burden. It is the skill which can increase your potential of thinking. For example, A engineer who do not know accounting can not analysis company's position. But any other engineer who has basic knowledge which he did find from some interesting contents of accounting online can easily analysis company's financial position. He can use same data for his professional contract deal with company.

According to my thinking, "We should not compare the books. All books of accounting are best. Every basic accounting book will give you an idea to grow in this field. So, my suggestion is to buy all the basic accounting books. Read all if you have time. Only after this, you can know what is accounting?

My Advice to the Beginners 

1. Give more time to understand and use of accounting concepts.
2. Learn maximum business transactions and its journal entries.
3. Start accounting from your own transactions. Record what did you buy? Record what did you earn? Record what did you pay for different expenses. Classify your own assets and liabilities.
