You can also write above problem in title as "how can schools use youtube videos to educate students in innovative (but safe)  ways?" Youtube is one of good place where you can find millions of educational videos. These videos are very helpful for your students' learning. But problem is that youtube shows relating video contents which may not be appropriate for your students. Due to this reason, large number of schools ban on youtube for watching its educational video in their classrooms. In the recent announcements of youtube, it has launched "Youtube for Schools"



Before using Youtube for schools, we should know its main features : 

1. When you will get authority for youtube for schools, your students can watch only the video relating to your school's subjects. There will neither be related video nor comments in it.

2. Administrators or principal of school  can add or delete the videos under  their YouTube for Schools  that are only viewable within their school.

3. YouTube has also put together more than 400 playlists sorted by subjects such as maths and science and other subjects which your students can watch after administrator's permission.

Steps to Use Youtube in School

1st Step : Sign in Youtube with your Id and Password

You must be the administrator or principal of school. Sign in Youtube with your id and password.

2nd Step : Sign Up Youtube for School

Following is url of sign up page of youtube for school by sign up, you have to fill the form. It is on youtube whether it accepts or rejects.

3rd Customize Youtube for School

After this, you will have power to customize your youtube account for your school. 





4th Getting Updates 

You should subscribe two youtube channel for getting updates. One is youtube for teachers and second is youtube for schools.
