How to Convert Failure into Success

Dear Sir,

 I am Libin Jacob,26 years old from Kerala. Sir after graduation i opt to join for ACCA course in Cochin,Kerala. The duration of course was 2 and half years if we opt 3 papers in a take. At my first attempt in June 2008 i failed for all three papers. I gave next attempt in Dec 2008 for 3 papers and passed one paper,F6 (Taxation). But after that i didn't passed any papers till 2010. In 2010 i started working with Muthoot as audit assistant for 5 months. I left that job in Feb,2011 and remain job less till Dec 2011. Then in Jan 2012, i got job in D.C books as audit assistant,which last for 8 months and i left that too in September 2012. From Oct 2012 i am jobless. I haven't appeared for ACCA exam in all these two years.


Sir, i am so depressed person now. When i look back now to what i did or how i work so far i realize that i did a grave mistake . While doing ACCA course i got class for only two papers but i don't think that is the cause of my failure and wastage of years as other students all over the world are passing by doing self study. I realize my mistake of wasting my precious time and family's money now. I want to study and complete ACCA.

Currently i am preparing for two papers of ACCA by self study at home.Along with my studies i am also searching for job in Finance & Accounts position. Sir will any company will employ a loser like me. I was not serious at all during my study days but now i am serious i am doing hard work. But when ever i work hard a thought a killing me. My mind is full of fears and tension, i fear will my life will be of a loser as no good company will not employ me even if i pass ACCA with flying colors.

 Sir, my accounting base was also poor earlier because i was not all serious during my plus two and degree days. I am now working on my accounting knowledge through your site. I am also learning tally from your site.

Kindly advise me on how should i tune my life from now. I will never be a irresponsible as earlier. I will never let the fire of learning in my mind to fade. If you want to convert your failure into success in accounting area, follow my advice :

1. Bring Positive Thoughts 

Be positive, if you will always think about your failure, it will become you negative in real sense. Your all powers are waiting to make you successful in the life. When you think and feel sad by searching your past failure, all these powers will only do the duty to make you more failure of the world. Remember, you are not coming in this world to become the showpiece of failure in the life.

2. Start New Life 

What happened in the past, forget first and start your new life. What do you think. Just ACCA and getting good job in UK is the life. No, education is not limited upto this. Everyday, we learn new things. If we identify our success in day to day learning of accounting, millions of ACCA degrees will in our pocket. Start your new life for learning everything in accounting. From your resume, I found that you are B.Com, there are lots of universities in India, from where you can do M.Com (correspondence). All are equal to ACCA. Your real degree is your expertise in accounting. I am happy, you have come to accounting education for learning. For your kind notice, I want to tell that I am not doing job. At accounting education, I do not show my degrees. I am successful at accounting education because I know, how to start new life from zero.

3. Learn to Never Give Up

Recently, I did mobile him. I have told that he can easily convert failure into success, if he will never gives up his fight. Learn accounting again and again. Try to understand where is my mistake. Improve it before sleeping. Recently, I uploaded a small motivational video on youtube. It is in hindi but it will bring energy to the depressed person.

4. Start Own Business

Leave the tension of doing and searching job. Be the hero by starting you own business. First year, it will not give your earning. But from second year, it will give you earning and happiness. Learning accounting every where. Use it your business for taking best decision. Your best decision in business will grow your business fastly.

5. Be the Example 

One of my friend is my great example of motivation. When he was doing B.Com with me, he was not very serious. After doing B.Com, he realize that his interest is not in commerce. He started to study English very seriously. He did M.A. in English. Then, he did B.ED and M.ED. Then he cleared UGC Net. Now, he is Govt. teacher. Still, he is doing PhD. If you are also serious, you will also become example for other. Your madness for becoming example for others will convert your failure into your success.
