On My Agenda Today

Today, on my agenda was to correct all the pages which are not found in my accounting education website. Technically is called 404 error. To correct this error is very necessary for better user experience.

For example you have come at accounting education website from different sources but you did not see what you want to see. It means, either source has given wrong page to our website or we did some mistake for adding internal links. So, it will be so bad experience for every new reader of accounting education. As founder of accounting education, I took it so serious. With the help of google webmaster tool, I found all the pages not found in accounting education. These are all about 107 pages.

For fixing the errors, I spent more than 7 hours. For this, first of all I have fixed target of today work.  I have made the schedule for this important work. First of all, I have given 1 hour and then I increased this time upto 4:45 p.m. I published it and on google, I can see this my agenda. 

There are many things which I have learned from this. 

• As administrator of Accounting Education, it is my duty to check crawl error of this website after every week like writing new content in this website. Quality is important than quantity.
• To correct internal links fastly. For better navigation of my website, I adds the internal links but if there is the link broken due to wrong url,  it will be bad for my website reputation. So, by correcting site errors, I can easily fix such errors. 
• There are some websites like Flickr which is photo-site, does not show full url of website. In past, I added some accounting education pictures with my website link for gaining new reader for my website, but it does not show full url, due to this, visitors did not find specific page of my website. So, this work, I can make better planning whether show or not show link in such sites.
