Few months ago, I have become partner of Flipkart. I sold 4 books on flipkart. You can see my books listing at flipkart. If I can sell the books, you can also sell the books on flipkart. First of all, I am writing why should you sell your books on flipkart.
1. You can start your small business at flipkart at zero budget. You can write on any topic and print it. It will be your book.
2. Flipkart has big traffic of customers where you can find your customer.
1. Create Your Seller Account at Flipkart
First of all you need to go to https://seller.flipkart.com subdomain of flipkart.com where you have to create your seller account. Without seller account, you will not sell your paperback books on flipkart. After reaching at same subdomain, you need to create your seller account by providing your email address and writing the password.
2. Fill the Form of Identification and Address
Now, you have to write your identification. You also send the scanned copy of your voter card or adhaar card. You have to write your complete address. You have to choose where you are company or partnership business or individual business. You can also upload the photocopy of your voter card instead of original scanned copy.
3. Give Your PAN Information
You have to write your PAN detail. It is your valid income tax account no. So, it is necessary for every indian businessmen or businesswomen who is registering as seller in flipkart.
4. Give Your Bank Detail
Which bank you want to get the payment of sale. You have to give name of bank, your bank account no. and IFC code. Flipkart will deposit the sale amount within 7 days of your sale and delivery of product to customer after deducting its commission and service tax.
5. Add Your Paperback Books
Now Add your paperback books in flipkart. For this, you will see Listing in left side menu of flipkart seller hub. Click it and then click add a listing. Then click on "Create a New Listing" If you do not have ISBN, you need to list under the regional books in books head ( Under selected category)
Then click next button. Now, write SKU ID. Write anything relating to book identification. It is your own creation. For example, I am writing Corporate Accounting MADE Easy Book's SKU id as COAME-10000. It is just like remembering code of your book. Write the edition. Write the author name. Write publication year. Write binding as paperback. Write language of book. Write publisher name. Write the title of book. After this, upload the image of book front. Write the no. of pages of your paperback book.
6. Edit Your Listed Price
Now after approving your product for listing, you can add new price which will be the sale price and if you want to give any discount, you can give it by edit your list price.
7. Track of Your New Order
When any customer will place the order of your paperback books, you will get order on your email. You have to go again seller hub of flipkart where you have to complete the process of getting print of customer's address and also manifest of logistic. One copy you have to give to courier team and one copy, you need to keep in your record.
8. Pack Your Paperback Books
You have to pay your paperback books yourself. And attach the address of receiver and your address also on the its packing.
9. Give Book to Flipkart Courier Team for delivery
You have to give it to delivery boy of flipkart. Delivery boy may come same day or next day.
10. Get Payment
If your payment is delayed. Just call to sales department of flipkart. With this, you will get payment on time.
