In my 15 years teaching career, I am only learning, “How to become best teacher?” I think, to become best teacher is also aim of my life. In these 15 years, I learned lots tips which I have tried to become best teacher for my students. I hope these tips also useful for new teachers also.
1st Tip: Motivation to Students is Key of Success of Teacher
You should always motivate your students. Every time, when you give inspiration to your students, your students will get power. You can motivate them to do efforts in learning the subjects. When you will motivate regularly, your students will recharge. You will see, your student will understand what you teach because you have given the power through your motivational energy. All students will realize that his teacher loves them in real sense. After this, your students will become real fan to you.
Following way, you can give motivation to your students:-
a) You can give motivation for becoming positive. Your students may face the problems in learning or they can face doubt. Increase their confidence by saying that you are always with them. Never feel, you are alone. Never feel, no one will help you. If you will not understand, no problem, I have still 100 ways to make you understand. Your words will make positive to your students. Their confidence will increase and they will understand everything what you want to teach.
b) Listen each student’s problem. Give extra time and tell what is the importance of education for life and how should he or she study.
c) You can motivate your student to face the problems. Problems do not come for fearing to you. They come just check your internal soul power. If you will defeat from one problem, other problem will attack on you with more power. So, be lion and fight all these problems.
2nd Tip: Prepare what You Teach
If you want to become best teacher, you should prepare what you have to teach. In this preparation, you can make your own written notes. You can make your own presentation. Remember important points in your mind. Never reading the books in the class, students can read books themselves........ Yes, you can study lots of books. You can study lots online resources. You have to analyze all these. After this, you should prepare what you teach. Now, this teaching will be magic. It will be simple. It will be logical. It will be full of idea. These teaching notes will be your own creation. These notes will change the life of your students.
3rd Tip: Get New Idea of Teaching from Other Teachers
For becoming best teacher, you should get new idea of teaching from other teachers. No teacher is the perfect in the world. Today, there are lots of websites of great teachers in which you can learn lots of idea of teaching your students. You may be lots of friends who may be in teaching profession. You can get best teacher if you get idea from them and utilize for your teaching area.
4th Tip: Must Have a Strong Moral Character
I think, teacher must have a strong moral character for becoming best teacher. Relationship between teacher and student is very pure. Life of teacher is just candle which gives his life for providing the light to student. Never do anything against your moral character. Control on your 10 senses and on your own mind.
5th Tip : Give Extra Time for Teaching
If teacher has to become best from a normal teacher, he has to give extra time to student from his duty. I remembered when I taught an orphan home, my duty was just 2 hours but I had taught 4 to 6 hours because I love my profession. Reward of my given time in the form to get some space in their hearts. For giving more time to teaching, you will get nothing loss because more you teach means more you learn.
6th Tip : Make Your Instruction More Interesting
Without creating interest, you cannot become best teacher. Use your hand to make understand your students. Your hand instruction will make your teaching more interesting. I always my both hands for explanation. If you see my some videos on YouTube, you will realize that I do my best to make my instruction more interesting for you. In online teaching, you may have lots of option which will be helpful for making your teaching more interesting.
7th Tip : Bring Discipline in the Classroom
.You have to create the environment for teaching. For this, bring discipline in the classroom. Speak in solid voice when you see something wrong in the class. Encourage your students to follow the rules and regulation of school and classroom. If you teach the discipline to your students in the classroom, it will become the part of life of your taught students. They will feel you as their best guide.
8th Tip : Give Reward to Student who Will do Good
If you see any student is doing hard work, you should give the reward. In my school, everything is of my student. But, I am just seeing who is doing hard work. I will give reward to whom who will do good.
